Now I'm awaiting the magical phone call with directions to Some Dude's Basement. I didn't realize that I left all my fun clothes at school, but the skirt I thrifted and a belt that arrived fresh off eBay today did pretty well for themselves. (The top's Harajuku Lovers from PacSun last year, the shoes are a Christmas gift, and I got the sweater on clearance. It's ever so-slightly glittery.)

Happy new year! Enjoy the hell out of it, but be safe.
p.s. I never noticed how shitty my doorframe looked!

I like the look! Great finds. I'm bummed with part of my wardrobe being at school, another part in the attic and the rest (with me) in the basement, it has made getting dressed very difficult.
Oh, hell, I hate selling stuff. I always have grandiose, larger-than-life dreams about how I am going to get $99.00 for a cashmere sweater or $85.00 for a bottle of perfume, and then I end up with less than fifty dollars for everything (eBay) and never manage to hit the market quite right.
Ever-so-slightly glittery is always faboo! Even on the cheekbones.
You rocked everything! I love how the colors go so well together and doesn't seem like it took alot of effort. The shoes are so great. Have fun at the party!
I like it! Is the belt leather? Brown or cranberry or purple?
Love the look, can't wait for new styles from you with pics in 08! :D!
bigglassesgirl: thanks! the belt is plastic and dumb stretchy material, but it disguises the kind of lame elastic waist of an otherwise awesome skirt pretty well! the shirt is purple.
Happy New Year!
(Nice outfit)

I really love that skirt
Hope you have great 2008!
A very pur-fect fitting pencil skirt...
I really love the skirt! As for second leather, I think it's ethical. As long as you're not buying from its original source, you're not supporting the industry in anyway.
However, if you're like Cory Kennedy, and you wear a leather jacket, and everyone wants to copy you and then goes out and buys them new, I do think that's bad.
Love the look. Pencil skirts are a classic =]
Happy new year!
